This publication is the final report of a project that Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences did in partnership with IMS Consulting Group on reforming the Medicine Pricing and Patient Access (PPA) System to improve access to medicines under universal coverage in Thailand. Based on international benchmarking, an analysis of the current Thai PPA system and consultation with important Thai stakeholders, this report recommends how Thailand can set prices and access levels for both generic and patented medicines to increase access to quality medicines in an equitable and sustainable manner. This study was commissioned by NHSO.
